Issues between two or more businesses occur regularly – contract disputes, product issues, (non) performance, and of course, money. Mediation in a commercial setting usually involves both the participants and their legal representatives. A Mediation Brief will be required from each party. ( a Brief is simply a copy, in chronological order, of all your documents etc, that will be referenced at the Mediation.
MEDIATION FEES:
- Initial meeting (by phone or in person) – NO CHARGE. $290 per hour (prepaid, split between parties unless otherwise agreed) plus any agreed upon expenses e.g. room rentals. Minimum 3 hours (including 1-hour review and preparation time – additional hours billed as above, upon agreement of the parties).
